Caramel Apple Ice Cream (Ice Cream Machine)

   Combine cream, half/half, sugar, vanilla and lemon juice in a bowl and whisk.

   Add caramel sauce to mixture and mix well.

   In a separate bowl, combine chopped apples, peanuts and salt and mix well.

   Place cream mixture in electric ice cream machine and turn on for 25 mintues.

   Gradually add apple/nut mixture at the end of freezing for an additional 10 minutes.

   Transfer to airtight container and freeze for 2 hours before serving.
