Candied Sweet Potatoes

   Boil the sweet potatoes, when nearly done, peel, slice and place in layer in a shallow baking dish.

   Melt the sugar and oleo. Put a tablespoon of the sugar-oleo mixture on each slice.

   Add the hot water and bake 3/4 hour in 350u00b0 oven, basting often.
