Calumet Nut Or Raisin Bread Recipe

   Sift flour once, measure, add in baking pwdr and salt, and sift together three times.

   Add in nuts.

   Cream butter, and add in sugar; then add in egg, lowfat milk, and flour.

   Stir only till smooth.

   Bake in greased loaf pan, 9x4x3 inches, in moderate oven (350 degrees) 1 hour and 10 min.

   Note: One c. raisins may be used instead of nuts.
