Cake Box Cookies

   Combine cake mix with egg and butter, mix well. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes at the temperature indicated on the cake mix box. Let cookies cool. Frost the flat side of one cookie and sandwich with another cookie. Repeat with the rest of the cookies.

   Tips: You can use any flavor with this super easy recipe. Try mixing chocolate chips into vanilla or chocolate flavor, or a cup of oatmeal in vanilla.

   I have to adjust for high altitude, so I add a pinch of baking powder and soda, and about 1/4 cup flour.
