Cabbage Casserole – a delicious recipe with cabbage, celery, green peppers, onions, bacon, American cheese. Easy to follow and perfect for any occasion.

1 medium cabbage, cut up
1 c. chopped celery
2 green peppers, chopped
2 medium onions, chopped
bacon fat
1 1/2 c. grated American cheese
1 1/2 c. evaporated milk
dash of Worcestershire sauce
salt and pepper to taste
bread crumbs

Cook cabbage in small amount of water.

Drain.

Saute celery, green peppers and onions in small amount of fat.

Add to cabbage. Pour into 2-quart casserole.

Combine cheese, milk, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper.

Pour over cabbage mixture. Cover with bread crumbs.
