Buzzards' Nests

   Combine the first 5 ingredients in a small mixing bowl; beat at high speed with electric mixer until soft peaks form. Gradually add sugar, 1 tablespoon at a time, beating until sugar dissolves.

   Stir in crushed cereal.

   Drop by level tablespoons onto lightly greased cookie sheet.

   Make indentation in center with thumb.

   Place 3 peanut candies in each.

   Bake at 275u00b0 for 30 minutes, or until set.

   Remove quickly onto wire rack to cool. Yields 3 dozen.
