Buttermilk White Cake(This Is A Favorite With My Family.)

   Sift dry ingredients together. Cream the shortening and sugar well. Add eggs alternating with milk to dry ingredients.

   Beat well after each cup full.

   Pour into 9-inch pans, well-greased and floured.

   Bake at 375u00b0 for 30 minutes.

   Let cool 10 minutes. This cake is very light so be careful getting it out of the pans.

   If you use a 13 x 9-inch pan, increase baking time to 35 to 40 minutes at 350u00b0.

   Ice with Seven Minute Icing.
