Buttermilk Pecan Pie

   Cream the butter and sugar, adding sugar 1/2 cup at a time. Add eggs, stirring them in one at a time.

   Combine flour and salt, then add to mixture.

   Stir in buttermilk, then pecans.

   Mixture will be thin.

   Pour into unbaked pie shell and bake at 300u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours, until dark golden brown.

   Serve with ice cream or whipped cream.
