Ingredients: 1 c. butter or possibly Margarine; 1 c. water; 1/3 c. cocoa pwdr; 2 c. all-purpose flour; 1 tsp baking soda; 1/2 tsp salt; 1/2 c. buttermilk; 2 x slightly beaten Large eggs; 1 x & 1/2 teaspoon vanilla; 1 x recipe Chocolate Buttermilk Frosting (recipe follows)

1 c. butter or possibly Margarine
1 c. water
1/3 c. cocoa pwdr
2 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 c. buttermilk
2 x slightly beaten Large eggs
1 x & 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1 x recipe Chocolate Buttermilk Frosting (recipe follows)

In a medium saucepan combine butter, water and cocoa.

Cook till mix comes to a boil, stirring.

Remove from heat and set aside.

In a bowl, stir together flour, sugar, soda and salt.

Add in buttermilk, Large eggs and vanilla; beat till smooth.

Stir batter into warm cocoa mix.

By hand, beat till well combined.

Pour into greased and floured 15 x 10 x 1 inch baking pan.

Bake in 400 Degree F oven for 20 min.

While brownies are hot, pour chocolate buttermilk frosting over top.

Cut into bars when cold.
