   Blend Crisco, sugar, eggs and oil.

   Mix thoroughly.

   Stir in mixed dry ingredients.

   Blend in vanilla and nuts.

   Spread in a 13 x 9-inch pan or 2 (9-inch) square pans which have been rubbed with Crisco.

   Bake at 350u00b0 for 40 to 45 minutes.

   Cool and cut into squares.

   I dust with powdered sugar.

   My daughter puts a chocolate frosting on them.
