Brown Fudge Squares

   Combine butter and cocoa in a small saucepan.

   Heat just until margarine melts.

   Set aside. Combine eggs and sugar in a large bowl, beating well. Add flour and vanilla.

   Mix well. Add chocolate mixture, beating until blended.

   Stir in pecans and/or chocolate chips. Bake in greased and floured 9 x 15-inch pan in a preheated oven at 325u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes. Cool and cut into squares.
