Cover the raisins with warm water. Let stand for 2 hours. Drain well. Place on a baking pan covered with paper towels. Let stand overnight to dry.

Beat the butter and sugar in large bowl with an electric mixer until just combined. Add the eggs, one at a time and beat until combined.
