1 stick and 3 tbsp butter
1/2 C all purpose power
1/2 tsp baking powder
Pinch of salt
4 eggs
11/4 C granulated sugar
11/2 tsp vanilla
11/2 C finely chopped walnuts (or whatever nuts you like)
2 C semisweet chocolate chips

Melt chocolate and butter in microwave (use defrost cycle, stirring occasionally) DO NOT BURN. Set aside.

Beat eggs, sugar, and vanilla in a bowl until sugar granules are not apparent.

Pour in chocolate mixture and mix well.

Sift flour, baking powder and salt together.

Fold sifted flour into the chocolate mixture. Add nuts and chips.

Chill batter for about 1 hr (or until solid).

Place parchment paper on a cookie sheet. Scoop mixture ~1 1/2 inch balls onto the sheet, about 2 inches apart.

Bake 12-15 minutes until cookies no longer look wet in the middle. Remove and place on cookie rack.
