1 c. white cornmeal
1/2 c. flour
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
2 Large eggs, slightly beaten
1 c. buttermilk
1/2 c. vegetable oil
1 (4 ounce.) can minced green chilies, liquid removed
3/4 c. cream-style corn
2 c. (8 ounce.) grated Cheddar cheese
1 (15 ounce.) can black-eyed peas, liquid removed

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Grease a 13 x 9 x 2 inch pan.

Cook sausage and onion in a large skillet till sausage is browned.

Drain and set aside.

Combine cornmeal, flour, salt, and soda in a large bowl.

In another bowl, beat Large eggs, buttermilk, and oil together.
