Belgian Brownies

   Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.

   Mix and sift the flour, baking powder, and cocoa.

   Melt the butter and mix with the flour. Add the salt to taste and rum.

   Beat the eggs and sugar until light and fluffy. Add the previous mixture and the chocolate.

   Pour into a 20- by 20-centimeter greased baking pan.

   Bake for 35 minutes.

   Let cool and unmold, then cut into squares.
