Beer Marinade

   Combine all ingredients in small bowl and whisk to ensure everything is mixed properly. Add half of the marinade to the appropriate size freezer/storage bag or Tupperware container and add meat. Then add the remaining marinade and cover the container/seal the bag. Next, place bag/container in the fridge for at least 4-5 hours for best results. During this time period, move everything around 1-2 times.

   Keep a bit of marinade around to baste meats while grilling. Just don't baste in the last minute or two of cooking, since the marinade had raw meat in it. Or you can heat the marinade in a saucepan, simmering for a few minutes to kill any germs.

   The hoppier the beer, the stronger the flavor! So careful what you use to not overdo it. For steaks, I recommend replacing lighter beer with darker beer, like a Schwarzbier, stout or bock.

   This marinates around 2.5-3.5 pounds of meat.
