1
Begin by heating your canola oil in large saucepan on medium to high heat until it reaches a temperature of 350 degrees (using a cooking thermometer).
-
2
During this time, mix the salt and flour in a large bowl, and begin whisking in your beer until the dry ingredients are well combined and you have a nice batter consistency.
-
3
Add in your green beans and gently toss and mix until all beans have been coated.
-
4
You can do this in batches if you need to.
-
5
Gently drop about 6-10 beans in the oil, cooking until they are a light golden brown.
-
6
These cook fairly quickly and should be ready in just a few minutes.
-
7
Remove beans from the hot oil using a slotted spoon and place them onto a plate lined with paper towel, or use a strainer with a plate underneath.
-
8
Lightly season with salt and pepper.
-
9
Repeat until all green beans have been fried.
-
10
If you have never had a fried green bean, you should.
-
11
I only say that because it could be one of the best fried foods you will ever try.
-
12
Biting into one yields the perfect green bean.
-
13
The bean still retains a mild snap while the beer batter, well, that just adds more yumminess.
-
14
Dip the beans into your favorite dip and watch how others around you are delighted while eating them.

Enjoy.
