   Peel onions.

   Slice tomatoes thick, just over 1/2 inch slices.

   Slice onions thick, but thinner than tomatoes, just over 1/4 inch slices.

   Lay out onions and tomatoes, alternating, on a platter.

   This should fill two platters.

   Pour dressing over the length of the vegetables.
