Ingredients: 1 1/2 lb. round steak; seasoned flour; 3 Tbsp. oil; 2 cloves garlic; 1 large onion; 3/4 to 1 c. water; 10 to 15 sliced mushrooms; 3/4 c. sour cream; salt and pepper to taste; steamed rice; 2 chicken bouillon cubes; 1/2 c. white wine

Servings: persons

1 1/2 lb. round steak
seasoned flour
3 Tbsp. oil
2 cloves garlic
1 large onion
3/4 to 1 c. water
10 to 15 sliced mushrooms
3/4 c. sour cream
salt and pepper to taste
steamed rice
2 chicken bouillon cubes
1/2 c. white wine

Tenderize steak.

Cut into 1/2 x 4-inch strips.

Roll in seasoned flour.

Put oil in skillet and brown garlic in oil.

Add steak strips and brown, turning each strip over.

Slice onion thin and separate rings and layer over steak strips.

Add water and simmer, covered, until tender.

Add a little more water if needed. Add mushrooms and simmer 10 more minutes.

Remove from heat and stir in sour cream.
