1 tbsp. shortening
1 med. onion, minced
1 stalk celery, minced
3 tbsp. butter
1 1/2 c. warm water
1 tbsp. instant beef bouillon
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon dry thyme leaves
Salt and pepper
1 (10 ounce.) pkg. frzn peas and carrots
1 (2 ounce.) jar sliced pimentos, liquid removed
1/4 c. cool water
3 tbsp. Bisquick baking mix
Biscuits (below)

Brown beef in shortening in skillet; remove beef.
