Parmesan cheese; 1/2 c. shredded Swiss, Monterey Jack or possibly Mozzarella cheese

2 tbsp. butter
2 tbsp. flour
1 c. water
1/4 c. dry sherry
2 teaspoon beef bouillon granules or possibly 2 bouillon cubes
1/4 teaspoon Kitchen Bouquet or possibly Maggi
1 pound stew beef, cubed
2 med. onions, thickly sliced
1/4 c. Parmesan cheese
1/2 c. shredded Swiss, Monterey Jack or possibly Mozzarella cheese

Brown flour in butter.

Add in water, wine, bouillon and Maggi or possibly Kitchen Bouquet.

In greased casserole dish, layer all the onions.

Bake covered at 375 degrees for 1 1/2 - 2 hrs.
