Ingredients: 1 c. sugar; 2 sticks margarine; 2 sq. unsweetened melted chocolate; 1 tsp. vanilla; 2 eggs; 2 1/3 c. flour; 2 tsp. baking powder; 1 tsp. salt; 1/3 c. milk; peanut halves

Cream together sugar and margarine.

Blend in chocolate, vanilla and eggs, one at a time.

Sift in flour, baking powder and salt alternately with milk.

Blend well.

Drop by teaspoonfuls onto a greased cookie sheet.

Insert about halfway into fattest side of each, 4 peanut halves to resemble claws.

Bake at 375u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes.
