1/2 pound grnd beef
1 tbsp. chili pwdr
3/4 c. flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 c. water
1 c. minced onion
1 tbsp. chili pwdr
1 tbsp. instant beef bouillon
2 (15 ounce.) cans chili beans
1/4 c. minced onion
1 1/2 c. corn meal
2 teaspoon baking pwdr
1 teaspoon sugar
6 slices bacon, minced
1 garlic clove, chopped
4 c. water

Dumplings: Cook grnd beef and 1/4 c. of onion till done.

Drain off fat.

Add in 1 Tbsp.

In a bowl mix cornmeal, flour, baking pwdr, salt and sugar.

Add in 1 c. of water, stir till mixed.

Divide into 16 pcs.

Flour hands and shape each portion around a Tbsp.
