Basic Honey Taffy Recipe

   Cook honey to hard crack stage (285F) stirring constantly.

   Pour onto buttered marble slab.

3. 3

   As soon as outside edges cold sufficient to touch,fold to center and make long roll.

   Start stretching or possibly pulling while warm.

5. 5

   Pull till honey becomes light and porous and small strings develop.

   Cut into short pcs.

7. 7

   Place in paper lined metal cans for two days to soften.
