1/4 tsp grnd red pepper
1 Tbsp. black pepper (1-2)
1/4 tsp mace
1 ounce envelope chili seasoning
1 c. vinegar
2 tsp dry mustard
1/4 c. molasses
1 tsp grnd ginger
1/4 c. water
1/2 tsp allspice
32 ounce ketchup

In saucepan, combine brown sugar, freshly grnd black pepper, chili seasoning, dry mustard, ginger, allspice, red pepper and mace; mix well.

Add in vinegar, molasses and water, stirring till blended.

Bring to boil, stirring constantly; reduce heat.

Simmer, covered, over low heat for 30 min, stirring occasionally.
