Barley Water Recipe

   Put barley in a large saucepan, add in the boiling water and simmer over a low heat with the lid on for 1 hour.

   Squeeze the fruit and keep the juice.

   Strain the water from the barley, then add in the rinds of 1 lemon and 3 oranges.

   Add in sugar.

   Allow to stand till cool.

   Strain off the rinds and add in the orange and lemon juice.

   Keep refrigerated.

   This is a delightful and healthful drink.
