1/4 c. vinegar
1 c. water
4 tsp. liquid smoke

Place onion chunks on roast. Combine red pepper, brown sugar, dry mustard, Worcestershire sauce, pepper sauce, catsup, vinegar, water, liquid smoke and chili powder in bowl; mix well.
