Ingredients: 1 1/2 lbs ground beef; 1/4 cup evaporated milk; 1 cup quick oats; 1/4 teaspoon pepper; 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder; 1 egg; 1/2 cup chopped onion; 1 teaspoon salt; 1 teaspoon chili powder; 2 cups ketchup; 16 ounces tomato sauce; 1 1/2 cups brown sugar; 3 teaspoons liquid smoke

Servings: persons

1 1/2 lbs ground beef
1/4 cup evaporated milk
1 cup quick oats
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1 egg
1/2 cup chopped onion
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon chili powder
2 cups ketchup
16 ounces tomato sauce
1 1/2 cups brown sugar
3 teaspoons liquid smoke

Mix the beef, milk, oats, pepper, garlic powder, egg, chopped onion, salt and chili powder together.

Form into 1 inch balls. (I use my cookie scoop-like a small ice cream scoop).

Place in 9 x 13 pan.

Mix the ketchup, tomato sauce,brown sugar and liquid smoke together.

Pour over meatballs.

Cover pan with foil.

Cook for 45 minutes in a 350 oven.

Take the foil off and cook 15 minutes longer.
