1 1/4 c. milk
1/3 c. vegetable oil
1/2 c. honey
1 egg
2 c. mashed banana
1 c. whole wheat flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 Tbsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. chopped dates
1 c. raisins
1 c. nuts
1/4 c. whole wheat flour

Combine bran and milk.

Let stand 3 minutes.

Add oil, honey, egg and mashed bananas.

Gradually add 1 cup flour, soda, baking powder and salt.

Stir just enough to thoroughly mix. Place dates, raisins and nuts in a bowl.

Stir in the 1/4 cup flour to coat.

Stir fruit into batter.

Pour into well-greased muffin tins, filling two-thirds full.
