Banana Chocolate Cake

   Sift flour, baking soda and salt together. Cream shortening and sugar. Add eggs one at a time. Beat thoroughly after each. Add chocolate and mix. Stir in vanilla. Add dry ingredients alternately with banana and milk. Bake 30 to 35 minutes at 350u00b0. Makes 2 (9-inch) layers.
