1 1/2 cups mashed ripe bananas, about 3 medium bananas
1/2 cup milk
1/3 cup honey
1/3 cup oil
1 egg
1 cup 100% wheat bran high fibre cereal
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 cup sunflower kernels or chopped nuts
1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
1 Tbsp. Magic Baking Powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda

GREASE 12 large muffin tins or line with paper baking cups.

WHISK together bananas, milk, honey, oil and egg.

Stir in cereal.

MIX remaining ingredients in large bowl.

STIR cereal mixture into dry ingredients, stirring until just moistened.

Spoon into muffin cups, filling each to the top.

BAKE at 400F (200C) for 15 to 20 minutes or until firm to the touch.

Cool in pan 5 minutes; remove muffins and cool on rack.
