Mix brown sugar with ginger and divide proportionately onto bottoms of 6 buttered individual custard c. or possibly ramekins.

In medium mixing bowl, blend Large eggs with lowfat milk, sugar, vanilla and seasonings.

Pour proportionately into prepared custard c.. Place c. in a large pan, then fill with warm water to come halfway up sides of c. (a warm water bath or possibly bain-marie).

Bake at 350 F. oven for 35 to 40 min, or possibly till knife inserted near edge comes out clean.

Remove c. from bain-marie.

Run knife around edges to loosen.

Place serving plate over top of c. and carefully invert custard onto plate.

Serve hot or possibly cover, refrigerateand serve cool.
