   place brisket in pot with seasoning packet provided massaged all over

   pour beef broth in pot place on medium high on stovetop.

   bring to a boil reduce heat cover and let simmer for 1 and a half hour

   preheat oven to 350. place meat and juices in oven continue cooking for another hour.if adding cabbage boil cabbage drain and bake with the meat and the meat juices

   let stand for 15 minutes.

   slice.
