Baked Cavatelli Recipe

   Prepare pasta according to package directions.

   Drain, and set aside.

   In a large skillet, cook sausage until no pink remains; remove from skillet.

   Drain off fat, reserving 1 Tbsp.. Cook green onion and garlic in reserved drippings until tender.

   In a 2 qt casserole, combine cooked pasta, sausage, onion mix, tomato sauce, spaghetti sauce, half of the Mozzarella, Italian seasoning, and pepper.

   Toss gently to combine.

   Bake covered in a 375 degree oven for 25 min.

   Uncover, sprinkle with remaining Mozzarella.

   Bake for 5 to 10 min more or possibly until heated through.
