Wash beans in colander; cover with water and soak overnight.

In the morning rinse the beans and drain.

Place beans in saucepan and just cover with water.

Parboil beans for 10 minutes with 1 tsp (5 ml).

Mix the rest of the ingredients with hot water and pour over the beans.

Bake at 300 degrees (150 C.) for about 6 hours--Add water as necessary to keep moist only.
