Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Combine cranberries and cider in microwave-safe bowl; microwave on high for 1 minute.

Remove it from the microwave and it let stand for 10 minutes.

Using an apple corer, core the apples but dont cut all the way through.

Using a small spoon, carefully scoop out center of apples, or use a knife and cut out the center of the apples, leaving a 1/2 inch-thick shell.

Chop the apple flesh and set aside.

Brush the inside of the apples with 1 teaspoon butter.

Place apples on a baking sheet, and bake at 350 degrees F for 25 minutes or until just tender.

Then remove the apples from the oven and set aside.

Preheat broiler to high.

Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Add turkey and saute 5 minutes, stirring to crumble.

Remove turkey from pan; drain grease.

Wipe out the skillet then add remaining butter into the pan.

Add chopped apple, yellow onion, carrot, ground cinnamon, and red pepper; saute 4 minutes.

Add garlic; saute for 1 minute, stirring constantly.

Add turkey and the cranberries/cider mixture into the pan.

Stir to combine all ingredients in pan and let it cook for a couple minutes.

Divide mixture evenly among apples.

Broil for 5 minutes or until golden.
