On top of stove, cook over medium heat the milk, margarine, Crisco, 1/2 cup sugar and salt.

Do not boil; cook just long enough to melt margarine and Crisco.

While this is cooling, mix together the yeast, 1 cup water and 1/2 cup sugar.

Set this aside.

After cooked ingredients have cooled, add yeast mixture and enough flour to make a stiff dough (about 7 cups).

Before dough gets real stiff, add 3 eggs.

Put in warm place; let rise.

After dough has risen, place on floured surface and work in enough flour so dough is not sticky.

Roll out dough; cut with biscuit cutter or glass and place into greased pan.

Let rise again, then bake at 350u00b0 until brown.
