Asian Pear Compote

   Peel and core the pear, then cut into 5 mm slices.

   Evenly spread the slices into a heat-resistant dish, then evenly sprinkle on the sugar and lemon juice.

   Cover with a lid and microwave for 5 minutes.

   After the slices are tender, it's ready to serve!

   If they are still hard, microwave longer, checking after increments of 30 seconds.

   Cover with a lid and cool.

   It will become tender from the residual heat.

   Once it cools, chill in the refrigerator.

   Serve chilled.
