2 lb. ground beef
1 c. crushed cornflakes
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 egg beaten
1/2 c. applesauce
1/2 tsp. allspice
1 large onion, sliced
1 large pepper, sliced
1 can stewed tomatoes
1 Tbsp. brown sugar

Mix together first six ingredients.

Shape into loaf or 2 inch balls.

Put in pan, add onion, peppers, tomatoes and brown sugar over top. Bake at 350u00b0 for 1 hour for meatballs slightly longer for loaf.
