1 c. Brown sugar, firmly packed
1 tsp Vanilla
1 c. Sifted flour
1/2 tsp Baking pwdr
1/4 tsp Baking soda
1/4 tsp Salt
1/2 c. Choped walnuts

Heat chcocolate and butter together.

Mix applesauce, Large eggs, sugar and vanilla.

Sift dry ingredients into applesauce mix.

Stir till blended; add in chocolate and stir well.

Pour into greased 9 inch square pan.

Sprinkle with walnuts.
