Apple Strudel

   Preheat oven to 400u00b0F. Grease 2 baking trays.

   Combine sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl.

   Sprinkle 2 tsp sugar mixture over 1 sheet of puff pastry. Place 1/2 the apple filling lengthwise down 1/2 then sprinkle with 1/2 the raisins. Carefully roll pastry up to enclose filling. Repeat process to make a second strudel.

   Place strudels, seam-side down, on prepared trays and brush with egg. Sprinkle with remaining sugar mixture and bake for 20 mins, or until browned lightly. Let cool for for 10 mins before slicing.
