1/4 c. Brown sugar
1/4 c. All-purpose flour
1/4 tsp Mace
2 Tbsp. Chilled butter
1 3/4 c. All-purpose flour
3/4 tsp Salt
1/4 c. Sugar
2 tsp Baking pwdr
1/2 tsp Cinnamon
2 x Large eggs
3/4 c. Lowfat milk
4 Tbsp. Melted butter
1/2 c. Minced apple

For topping, combine all ingredients and rub together with fingertips till completely blended.

For muffin mix, combine dry ingredients in a bowl or possibly on wax paper and stir to combine.

Beat Large eggs in a medium bowl.

Add in dry ingredients and give 10 or possibly so vigorous strokes.

Put a spoonful of batter into each muffin c., divide half the topping among the muffins, spoon on remaining batter, then sprinkle with remaining topping.
