1/2 cup chopped walnuts
1/4 cup flour
3 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons butter, room temperature
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
BATTER
1 1/2 cups flour
1/2 cup sugar
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon allspice
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 eggs
1 cup sour cream
1/4 cup melted butter
1 cup diced unpeeled tart apple

Heat oven to 375 degrees F. Grease muffin cups or use paper liners.

Put streusel ingredients into a medium bowl. Mix with a fork and crumble with fingers. Set aside.
