Apple, Pear And Oatmeal Cookie Crumble

   Preheat the oven to 350u00b0F. Place fruit, 1 cup water and sugar in a saucepan on high heat. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium and simmer for 10 mins, stirring occasionally, until just softened.

   Spoon fruit into a 2-quart baking dish. Sprinkle cookie crumbs over the top. Dot with butter.

   Bake for 15-20 mins, until topping is crisp. Serve with ice cream or whipped cream.
