Apple Or Peach Cobbler

   Peel and core fruit and place in baking dish.

   Slice each piece of bread into 5 narrow strips and place over fruit.

   Mix sugar, milk, flour, and lemon juice.

   Stir in margarine.

   Add egg and mix well.

   Pour over fruit and bread strips.

   Bake at 350u00b0 for 35 minutes or until fruit is tender.
