Apple Fritters with Cream Sauce

   For the cream sauce, combine the first four ingredients in a sauce pan and bring to a boil, stirring constantly.

   Remove from heat and let it cool.

   For the fritters, peel and core the apple using an apple corer.

   Slice crosswise into 1/2 inch-thick rings.

   In a bowl, beat the eggs.

   Dip apple slices in egg and coat with coconut flakes.

   Pan-fry in butter until golden brown on both side.

   Arrange on a serving plate and serve warm with cream sauce.
