Mix together the ingredients for the dough. Divide the dough in half. Roll out the first half to line a jelly roll pan. Reserve the other half for the top of the apple danish.

Mix together the apples, sugar, flour and cinnamon. Lay across the bottom of the dough in the pan. Dot the butter across the top of the apple mixture.

Roll out the remaining dough to the size of the pan. Lay across the apple mixture. (This may be tricky, but it does not have to be perfect. I usually have to piece/pinch mine together.) Beat egg white and brush on top of dough.

Bake at 375 degrees (F) for 45 minutes. Remove from oven.

Mix together the powdered sugar, milk and vanilla for the icing. Pour on top of the baked apple danish while still warm. Cut into squares.
