Apple Butter

   Slice unpeeled apples; cook until they are tender and run through colander.

   Combine all ingredients.

   Cook in covered pan or roaster in a 350u00b0 oven for 1 1/2 to 2 hours or until a small amount of the mixture will hold its shape when cool.

   Stir down from the sides 2 or 3 times during the process.

   The Apple Butter does not stick to the pan or scorch.

   It does beautifully cooked in crock-pot 5 or 6 hours.
