Using a 5 inch round pastry cutter, cut 8 circles from pastry sheets and spoon an even amount of filling into the center of each. Brush edges with water and fold pastry over filling to form semicircles. Press edges firmly together to seal then transfer to baking sheet and brush with a little mascarpone. Sprinkle with remaining sugar. Bake for 15-20 mins, until puffed and golden.
