Apple And Raisin Jar Cake

   Preheat the oven to 325u00b0F. In a bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, cinnamon and sugar. In a separate bowl, whisk together the egg, milk and oil, then add the flour mixture and stir in the apple pulp and raisins. Divide the mixture between 6 small, greased, oven-proof jars with airtight sealable lids, with about 1 1/4 cup capacity. Bake in the center of the oven for about 35 minutes, until an inserted knife comes out clean.

   Place the lids in boiling water for 2 minutes to sterilize, then drain on a kitchen towel. Remove the cakes from the oven and seal immediately with the sterilized lids. The cakes should keep, unopened, for about 2 weeks.
